3 ways to brighten their day

Our mission is to create one billion magical moments by helping people connect with the people they love. In today's situation of isolation and social distancing, this feels more important than ever. People need ways to share and experience love, compassion, and solidarity, even if they can’t be together. Here are a few simple ways you can add some joy to someone's day.

Stay connected.

We all have an underlying human need to connect. In situations when you can't physically be together, there are still many ways to share love, compassion, and solidarity with the important people in your life. With texts, calls, and video chatting, you can "see" each other with the click of a button. These interactions can help fill the social voids we all feel during times of separation and bring some light and laughter to darker days.

While technology is an important and impactful tool for staying connected, a hand-written note has a special ability to bring people together from afar. A thoughtful card or letter can add some pep into the step of elderly relatives, family living far away, or longtime friends feeling the impact of the current times. Adding a photo of happy memories you've shared together is another special touch to remind them of good times and better times ahead.

Make them laugh.

They say laughter is the best medicine. Whether you know someone who's feeling under the weather or could just use a pick-me-up, puns are a great way to bring a smile to their face. Here are a few ideas for messages of love and encouragement to get your wheels turning:
Say thanks.

There are so many people on the front lines working hard to make things better for the rest of us. Doctors, nurses and EMTs work around the clock to make sure everyone they come in contact with is healthy and well taken care of. Grocery workers make sure that shelves are stocked and that you're able to get what you need when you need it. Even your local post office worker spends hours every day making your life easier and ensuring that you get important messages delivered to you daily. Not to mention, teachers, cafeteria workers, and custodial staff make sure your kids are learning, being fueled (with both food and knowledge), and thriving in a clean and well-maintained environment day in and day out.

Showing your appreciation and encouragement for individuals working diligently to ensure the health, safety, and happiness of the rest of us can help provide a much-needed moment of brightness in their day. Say thank you for everything they do every day, but especially during extreme times of need!

We hope to put a smile on your face and give you an opportunity to stay connected and share something magical with someone you love, even if you can't be together. We will continue to be here for you and all your milestones. If you need assistance from our customer happiness team, as always, you can reach us at (888) 687-9589 and hello@lovepopcards.com.

I ordered the beautiful Thinking of You Bouquet for my Sister. With the Stay At Home order, we don’t get to see each other and I wanted her to know how much I love her. She said she had seen these cards but didn’t realize how big they were. Wish I could post the picture she sent me of this beautiful card on her office table. She loved it and brightened up her day🌞
